Headed down to a (believe or not) local gallery show on Wednesday night with my boy. It was definitely not what I was expecting. I was greeted with a long line and a sweatbox full of people. It took around 20 minutes to get into the gallery. I was slightly disappointed with the works, or maybe just the overall ambience. I was also a fugitive for awhile seeing my old boss. I think I may have made some intense eye contact with him. That may have had a large thing to do with the overall ambience. I would say technically the works looked great, but wish they had more to them. Guess it all boils down to preferences. Despite that, you should get around to this show when you have some time. Closes August 28.
